that we saw it coming doesn't make it any less terrifying :( and the republicans are already openly salivating over what other fundamental rights they can dismantle.

also this post by amaebi is a good concise summary of why the supreme court really needs to be radically expanded, so our freedoms no longer balance on a knife-edge.

The trouble is, we won't be able to get anything like that through before we lose the Senate in the midterms, and then McConnell will somehow stop anything from actually changing.
