OnlyFans may have been able to resolve its conflict with banks, some of which had refused to do business with the site, by going public with the issue — and publicizing the large amount of money that flows through the site, on the order of $300 million in payouts per month.

reading between the lines, the most remarkable thing about the entire affair is that apparently banks backed away from banning sex workers because the optics were bad!

If previous public backpedaling is any guide, it will only last until they think the furor has died down enough that they think they can try again, banking on allies being less involved the second time and on SWs having to fend for themselves unaided.
